Number pad ( numpad ) not working in Ubuntu / Linux
Before Replacing your keyboard, Please check that mousekeys was enabled.
To Get your number pad back
Press Shift + Num-Lock keys to gather
Or
- Step 1# Click on the System Menu.
- Step 2# Mouse over on the Preferences Menu.
- Step 3# Click on Keyboard Icon.
- Step 4# Click on the Mouse Keys tab.
- Step 5# Disable the checkbox titled “Allow to control the pointer using the keyboard”.
- Step 6# Click close and ensure that your Num lock is on.
