ubuntu linux numpad not working issue

  Number pad ( numpad ) not working in Ubuntu / Linux
  


• 
  Before Replacing your keyboard, Please check that mousekeys was enabled.
  


• 
  To Get your number pad back
  Press Shift + Num-Lock keys to gather
  

Or

• Step 1# Click on the System Menu.


• Step 2# Mouse over on the Preferences Menu.


• Step 3# Click on Keyboard Icon.


• Step 4# Click on the Mouse Keys tab.


• Step 5# Disable the checkbox titled “Allow to control the pointer using the keyboard”.


• Step 6# Click close and ensure that your Num lock is on.
